Took the afternoon off, having been in Portsmouth then Toulouse working this week. It was quite gusty. Tony was out of 5.5. But I know it was falling rapidly. Did lots of gybes, covered many miles and did some nice jumps too. Tried a few more duck gybes.

Then I had a long rest as the wind steadily collapsed. And in the race it was short slalom on the 8.5 The JP feel fab now, and if I'd been more focussed I could have done better than 5th. But Ron's starting was a bit late on the hooter, and I was left a good 50yrds behind as we crossed the start-line! But during the race I felt in control and lost a couple of gybes due to flotsome and jetsome at the marks.
